The Architect

MAXIM
ANATSKO.

Architecting clarity from chaos.

I don't just build reports; I build systems. My journey spans from the high-pressure precision of Oil & Gas QA through the creative complexity of AAA Game Production at Wargaming - and now into the regulated, high-stakes world of Life Sciences.

Today, I bring that unique blend of engineering rigor and product strategy to Business Intelligence. I help organizations - from Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies to tech startups - transform messy data into clean, actionable narratives using Power BI, Fabric, and custom tooling.

The Origin Story

“I've been a data engineer in manager's clothing since 2014.”

While my titles said “Producer” or “Manager”, my work was always about data. From initiating BI systems at a1qa to writing Python scripts at Wargaming, I've spent a decade building the tools I needed to lead effectively.

THE OPERATING SYSTEM.

Facts First

In an information-rich world, accuracy is currency. I prioritize factual precision to guide decisions.

Systems > Goals

"You fall to the level of your systems." I build resilient frameworks that deliver consistent excellence, not just one-off wins.

Partnership

I work as a partner, not a contractor. I think alongside you, challenge assumptions, and own outcomes.

Boundaries

Personal well-being fuels professional excellence. Good boundaries make for sustainable high performance.

Accountability

Ownership is non-negotiable. I champion a culture where every action is owned with integrity.

“There is life beyond work. I want to live it.”

Me

1989 – Belarus

In the stirring backdrop of Belarus, 1989, my story began just as the Soviet Union was nearing its end. It wasn’t an easy start - a tumultuous family life and the added complexities of being gay in a conservative society presented challenges from a young age.

Yet, amidst the uncertainty, I found solace in technology. Those early days at my parents’ workplaces laid the foundation for a lifelong passion. When I got my own PC, it became my gateway to endless possibilities.

“My PC became my playground for creation and discovery.”
Maxim Childhood

“Good boundaries make good marriages and friendships.”

Early Days

I became a self-taught whiz in hosting, DNS, and Linux, launching a site dedicated to Angelina Jolie and platforms for LGBT stories. This was more than a website; it was a beacon for visibility.

Facing resistance from family, I left university to trust my instincts. This decision wasn’t just about a career; it was about choosing authenticity in a world where technology and advocacy intersected.

“You fall to the level of your systems.”

The Climb (2008–2017)

Oil & Gas (2008-2012): I delved into ERP software, navigating massive databases for oil drilling processes. Here, I discovered my innate talent for numbers and data analysis.

Telco & Scale (2012-2017): Transitioned to telecommunications, dealing with exponential data scale. Leading teams of up to thirty professionals, I learned the indispensable value of a data-driven approach, meticulously meeting stringent KPIs.

2018 – Present

I traveled the world and eventually chose to settle in Prague. I stepped into AAA gaming production, eventually leading my own team of project managers. My data-driven philosophy became my north star.

Now, as an independent consultant, I've entered a phase of Synthesis. I help organizations navigate the complexities of modern BI, combining the “AAA production” mindset with deep data engineering. Oh, and I married an amazing person - my mountain and main supporter.
